A model from New York, 5ft 11in Brooke Banker laid claim to having the longest limbs in the Big Apple in 2013. Her legs measures 47 inches. Boasting an extra two inches on her never-ending limbs 26 year old Lauren has a leg up on Brooke who stands 6ft 4in.
She said, ‘It’s interesting to me that this is a title I now hold. I never realised that it would turn out to be such a big deal, but I’m really excited.’
As her father, mother and twin sisters are all 6ft or taller, Lauren’s height and long-legged genes can be attributed to her family. She revealed that she can find it tricky to buy clothes that fit being US size 11 feet (UK size 10). When modelling, single Lauren has worked on campaigns for global brands such as Nike. She does everything from sports and fitness to high fashion and swimwear. Being extremely active as well as having played volleyball in college, Lauren also enjoys shooting sporty campaigns.
Lauren added, ‘As a competitive athlete this is an industry that I’m very comfortable with the work I do. ‘I have a lot of background knowledge in the field, which has helped a lot.’
Lauren works as an educator at a children’s museum in Houston and enjoys travelling except modelling. Her striking looks and long limbs mean she gets comments about her legs on a daily basis when out and about.
She said, ‘I don’t recall a time when I realised I had such long legs, it was just always something about me. Most of my friends and family members are very excited about my title – they are always commenting on how lucky I am.’
